My Flatbed Powerwashing truck

K here is a picture of my Ford F-550 flatbed truck that was just lettered this week. This truck is no higher then 7'2" at the highest point(Hose reels) so it can fit into parking garages that have low height clearance. There is a 550 and a 350 gal water tank on the bed which gives the ability to carry 900 gallons of water to a jobsite. Also the Powerwasher is a diesel ran 11 gallon/minute or a two gun set-up at 5.5gpm each with propane fired burners. There is a generator that I just fixed that will be attached to this Powerwasher. This truck I bought in Texas for $13,000 and it only had 52,000 miles on it. When time permits I'm going to add a few more things on this truck so it can store alot more on it.

This truck can pull down a house if we dont like the way the house looks

I'll post pictures of my yard space next to the sand pits where Jimmy Hoffa is buried that I keep my bucket truck and trailer and also I'll post some jobs we've done in the last couple of weeks. Just got this new digital camara(6 months ago) and I just started using it a couple of weeks ago. Just today I figured how to resize pictures..what a pain that was.

Sweet looking setup John. Noticed the towing package in the back so the swabby can be hauled around also. Very nice bud.

I noticed the surface cleaners (2) of the them are laid in and around the tanks. What is securing them down?

Think you will be putting some type of cage/ladder rack around the equipment? If so, hooks on the steel can be used to mount the surface cleaners and of course ladders can be thrown ontop and secured.

The Flatbed is 14 ft long. Those two surface machines are held in by straps and bungy cords. I am going to put in some post and things to hold them in. Still havent devised that one yet. I had to clean this truck the other day so I can get it lettered finally. I actually Powerwashed the whole truck with hot water including the burners tanks and the surface machines. Looking at that picture now I should have clean the tires...oops.

Forgot to clean the tires? I wont be hiring you to clean my fleet lol

What a nice looking rig, John.
And I'll bet it rides nice with that long wheelbase!
(Think I would go with shorter wheelbase, for better turning radius,
and let the bed overhand the back. My last two 1 tons had the turning radius of the Queen Mary!)

How did you locate it? Ebay? AutoTrader.com?

Hey Chris,
That truck is a 99 Ford F-550 that had only 50,000+ miles on it. I paid $13,500 from a Girl in Texas. She listed it on Ebay and I happen to be checking for trucks when this auction started. I emailed her immediately and soon thereafter I received her phone number and we negotiated that price which was about $3000 under her buy now price. The agreement was for me to deposit a down payment at her bank which is a nationwide bank and that was done pronto... She took the truck off the auction and the deal was done. I jumped on a plane for a couple of Hundred bucks and flew down to Texas Met her and drove the truck back in around 32 hrs with only a 3 hour and maybe another hour nap along the way back and alot of Red Bull

As for the Pressure washer equipment on that truck I also bought that on Ebay 2 yrs ago. It was on a Gooseneck trailer which I ended up taking off the Equipment I needed then I sold that trailer on Ebay

Ah you screwed Up John!... coulda went diesel all around even for the burners.

Mount a couple brew tank, drive to a fast food drive-thru job, pump the first full from their grease dumpster, pump it through a filter into second tank, throw in some methoxide (methenol/hydroxide) to get the glycerin to sepperate out, then pump the pure bio-diesel to all the equipment and the truck to boot....You'de smell like french fries..

ummm fries.... Much better smell than the Hypochorate or Hydroxide that I stink of after a hard days work.

That Powerwasher on my truck is diesel but I love the way the propane burners burn so cleanly and propane here is about 20 % cheaper then Diesel fuel..... Diesel fuel prices are INSANE!!!! and don't make sense.. oh nooooo I think I just awoken Jeff the Condo King....................

3.59 a gallon for diesel here. I think the numbers are froze to the billboard as it hasn't budges in WEEKS!
