Our new (but used) Isuzu - Dec 19th, 07, 09:05 PM

We love the flatbed over the pulling of the trailer. Still working out the organization of what goes here and there.

Do you ever have need to canvas tarp them from the elements? Looks condusive to that real heavy stuff the 18wheelers use as wall sides on some trailers.

Nah, Leave it all out in the open.

No problems on the trailer so there should be none on the truck.

What kind of mileage per gallon does an NPR truck get? I know Isuzu makes one of the best diesels ever.

I have no clue as of yet on the mileage. I am going to figure it out soon.

Dave,

Nice...very nice. Neat thing about those Isuzu's is that they are pretty good on gas and you can squeeze them in tight places.

Would envision having a couple telescoping lamps/liights on each side tied into a generator. Maybe a rear light while you are at it . Is there a back lift on it?

Looks good guy!!

No back light, I was thinking about a 3000 watt inverter - less space and quieter. The hot water unit needs approx 2000 watts at first hit then its down to 500 watts or less.
Plenty of room for lights then.

I like the cab forward trucks. great visibility. and fun if you have spent years in a conventional cab.

Great pics Tom.
I bought a 63 econoline a while back.
Gonna stuff a built 302 in it to make sure I get there first.
