Refinery job - Jul 8th, 08, 03:49 PM

A big thanks to Charlie from Apex deck savers who sent an out of state equipment broker to us for this job. This piece of equipment is 4 stories tall 150 feet long and 50 feet wide. Washed it from the top all the way to the ground. In the lower left corner of the first pic is a 13,000 hp electric motor (covered in plastic) as tall as I am,over 6 feet. They had 4 of those. Thanks again Charlie

A pavement milling machine is more fun. Rock hard, nooks and crannies, and huge.

Those are fun too, it is amazing how hard and stuck to the surface the milled asphalt can get just sitting on the drive tracks.

Even more fun is a concrete paver, all the concrete splashes up on it when they are loading it. I had to strip one of those down for paint before. That stuff just doesn't want to come off.

Or the engine/cab/underside of a backhoe after the customer who rented it decided to sink it in a pond he was digging say to the top of the engine compartment.

Richard,

That is real pressure washing. Very impressive job. Great example why wood contractors are not pressure washers.
