    cedar deck, 8 years old

    this cedar deck has had nothing done to it except the thompsons treatment awhile back.

    dirty, then cleaned and the rails sealed, then the complete job..pic taken a few days after it was completed....returning tomorrow to finish the underside of a second deck they have. (they are out of town for the holiday) maybe Ill fire up their grill...

    Looks good, what stain did you use? I used wood tux wet for the first time today, it looks good but doesn't seem as user friendly as regular wood tux. Maybe I just need to get used to the cure time. Nick

    Great job, Michael. I like the way that turned out for you. Third vote for PT, but no matter what type of wood, you can't argue with results.

    thanks all........yup, PT it is, (echo-echo) LOLOL, homeowner had it built, told me cedar (maybe he got hosed on the building, but he didnt get hosed by us!), not enough knots, but furred like cedar with percarb and 500-600 psi.......took his word for it and never thought of it again...LOL

    did the underside of his second deck today...P-I-T-A !!!!!
