Now I'm not usually a fan of appying solid stain to a deck, but when I'm asked, I'll do it.....and charge alot I might add.

This one, according to the customer, had at least seven previous coats of stain on it. It would have been pointless to try and strip seven layers of various brands solid stains.

We applied a percarb cleaner, gave it a mild washing, sanded areas that exhibited any flaking, and stained with brush and roller.

We used Olympic Solid Cedar color. The customer liked it, and we charged top dollar.
