Yes Jim, I remember alot of guys in 2004 that are no longer in business. Over the years I have read many boards and also went through the different search areas reading. I must say I feel extremely glad to finally be where I am today. I have talked to many contractors over the years and most have given me excellent information. But like I stated in a earlier post, guys like Mike Williamson spent numerous hours of his time helping get my rig setup, and we will be working in some of the same areas. What a guy! He never once asked me for payment for his services either. Like I said, I can not thank him enough. I don't know how much work I will be able to drum up the rest of this year, but starting in Jan 07 I will be balls to the wall getting my business name out there. Take care! Thanks again Hugh

Way to go Hugh. I'm on my 20th year myself and still don't know if I'll retire just yet but the 11 yrs doing the Powerwashing has been great. I plan on Powerwashing well past my cop years.

Thanks for the nice words Rod & Beth. It has been a long time comming. Also John T. I only spent 13-years as a deputy in the Sheriff's Office before I decided to retire. You see I just wanted to get enough money to add to my 20-year Navy retirement fund. This way the pressure is off me to bust my tail day in and day out to make a living. I look at this as my new fulltime retirement job. You see I will probably never totally retire, just slow down some. But it is a good feeling knowing, I will now work for myself and everytime I screw up, instead of my boss chewing me out, I will have to pull myself aside and chew myself out! Police work was rewarding and enjoyable, but now is the time I plan to enjoy to the fullest what I'm doing. Thanks again! Hugh

Hugh,
trailer looks great, inside and out! it'a already full!! what did you put on the floor of the trailer? And I really like the way you vented the exhaust. is that custom made?? I wish you luck my friend. you've had some great teachers as well as some good help. Oh, how big are your tanks? Bruno, thanks for the good words. The trailer is a 14'X7' and I had the floor and and walls 3-feet up sprayed with the same material as Rhino Liner. The skid unit which I bought from Don Phelps is 3500 5.6gpm Pressure Pro and I went to my local welder and had him make me the exhaust pipe out of steel. Mike Williamson helped setup my rig so any pats on the back go to him! I will be downstreaming and my tanks are 225-Water, 125-Chlorine and 65-Soap. I had a 87-yrs old guy who still runs a machine shop weld together for me the reel rack. He was alittle bullheaded and did so so welding but I will make it work. I am still undecided on where to get hooks or fastners to secure and hang my wands on the wall. Any ideas? It still is hard for me to believe I am finally ready to go out and make some money. After all, up to this date, all I have been doing is paying out! No loans, everything cash and carry, including my 2006 Chevy. Anyway if you have any ideas for hanging the wands let me know! Take care buddy! Hugh

Use those critters made to hold fishing rods! You can just screw them to the wall then they have velcro straps to hold the lances in place when you put them between the foamy stuff.
