Gettinng rig together - Sep 16th, 06, 02:00 PM

Heres some pics of some of the new stuff on my new trailer. Put the diamond plate to help shield the skid from the wind & rain and the frame we worked into it for ladder rack. Put a hole/door in diamond plate over burner exhaust to let exhaust vent

Had fuel can holders put on each side of trailer, post for safety cones & fire extinguisher holders too. Plus had a partial cover put over the cold 5.6 machine for weather sheild and I'm looking for a good diamond plate tool box and will place it on top of that sheild. Got a couple side tool boxes they fit real well.

I kept everything under right at 6' 1" so I'll be able to get it parking garages. Plus the trailers 14' plus tongue so it will fit in my garage

Have a couple more things to add another rack for chems, havent found the tanks/containers I want yet

Its coming together. It will be getting its first real work out this week, we have 9 buildings and a small parking garage to do this week

The welder/fabricator does nice work

How about on the front of the diamond plate?
btw, fwiw, have you put much thought into the exhaust from the burner and how much the current set up will cause a blackening of the underside of the diamond plate? It may also cause the unit to accumulate soot inside the burner coils due to the lack of unobstructed venting. (Just remembering what I have been educated of by Tom from ACR products.)

It's a very nice rig and the set up looks really clean and organized. I get depressed when mine gets dirty from use. (neat-freak-here)

The 3rd picture shows a little door thats right over the burner exhaust, door is hinged, when its running you open that door and theres nothing in the way of the exhuast. When your done or traveling you just shut & lock the door, plus all the diamond plate is about 8" away from the skid. Thats why I didnt put sides on it so everything can breathe. The whole sheild is just to sheild a majority of the weather & wind when traveling.

Nice & clean now I almost hate to use it

Jeff, Why not put into an enclosed unit? I seems that money is not an object for you. I seems that an enclosed would be the way to go. Have you factored in theft of your equipment and you need a place for signage? Just my .02

I needed an open trailer to get into low parking garages to wash them. I have an enclosed that I cant ever get into garages. This trailer will save me a lot of time which is money.

Theft this will be parked in my garage everynight saving me money on parking storage and the worry of theft at night

Yes, its going to catch some wind, thats why I had it rounded/bent some. I rather the diamond plate catch the wind instead of my skid unit, thats the whole purpose of it, is to protect the skid.
