New Truck :)

My new truck ....yea right in my dreams.

Buddy of mine up the street from me picked it up last week. Told me I could take it with for estimates. Wonder what a customer would think if I pulled up in front of their house with this beast.

Anyway,

With the custom paint job and all the "bells and whistles" he dropped 160 for it.

We start on his yard (landscaping/concrete) in a couple of weeks.

How was your experience buying a truck like that on Ebay. I will be looking for another F350 in the near futur for my guys, because there putting mine to sh*ts. I don't want to buy a new truck but there are quite a few that seems nice on Ebay. Weird thing is most of the F350's are in Texas, I guess they really do like thing big there...lol. I'm just scared to get scammed with a nice looking truck that's always in the shop for repair. Was the truck you bought described well and how was your overall experience with the dealer. I see you both left each other good feedback (which is a good sign). Any surprises I should look for. I bought a Ford Explorer a couple years back from a guy in Baltimore (private sale) and it was an OK experience, was a car wheeler dealer but very honest but never from an out of country (I'm in Canada) dealer.

The upgrades for those trucks can put them at a $100,000 or more...There awesome trucks...Absolutely beautiful!!

Dan I've now bought at least 6 trucks and cars on ebay.I usually pay for that 99 point inspection that ebay offers which is very good. They check everything out on the vehicle your interested in and they email you the results with a ton of pictures to show you the problem area's etc.. So far I Had no problems with any of these vehicles except to maybe have the brakes redone...Considering that everything is so expensive here I feel I always get great deals thru Ebay..
