The New Ride

Picked this up for the wife about a week before Thankgiving. We had talked about getting her an SUV in the spring. I had a Property Manager friend selling this, so I grabbed it up. 2004 Trailblazer, great family vehicle. I was going to give it to her as a surprize on Xmas, I couldnt wait till Xmas, but I surprized her another way.

I got her good. She got out of work early one day and so she took Joshua to Karate, which she doesnt get to do usually. well I put a big bow on the drivers side window and went into the Karate school and asked her to come outside. She said NO she wanted to watch Joshua. I told come on, like I was begging her, I told her I got some new China for the house and she said she'll see it later. I finally got her to come out. She was complaining the whole way about me taking her away from joshua's class. I was laughing inside, B---hing the whole way. she walks around the corner and see's the bow and looks at me and I shook my head yes, she started screaming and then crying. It was COOL. Now if we can just figure out all the buttons. She was so happy to get rid of what she called her Grandma car ( Mercury Marquis) she loves her SUV Soccer Mom ride

Cool Jeff... I did the same thing for my wife while she was out of town visiting family at Thanksgiving.. Gotta take care of our biggest supporters.

That aint a fuel guzzler. My wifes excursion is a fuel guzzler, and I make NO apologies for it. Of course, it still gets 16 mpg around town, the same as the Astro van it replaced.

Vortec V-6 huh? You need to put her a K&N cold air induction it will boost her up a few extra hp and help get better mpg.It will sound cool too

Nice Jeff, black is beautiful when clean, but hard to keep that way, speaking from experience of course. But I do know someone that can keep it clean though.
