F-18 Stripping Flood CWF from a Redwood House - Mar 3rd, 07, 11:13 PM

Here is a section of a redwood house that had some beautiful Flood CWF and I used F-18 to strip it and Oxalic to brighten.

Looks good. I thought you made up your own stripper?

I did make my own stripper Charlie but Bob sent me some samples of the F-18 and i really like how good it cleans. It doesn't get real hot and I didn't see as much furring like the stripper i was making myself. Now i did add a cup or two of 100% S/H flakes to the F-18 that boosted it for some stubborn areas.

Thanks Beth

Dan, F-18 does a great job indeed!!

Hey Shane,

Thought your Texas guys only saw PT with a little cedar now and again? Wow, a redwood house! Now thats nice wood.

Good thing about CWF junk is it strips like butter. Post a pic when its' stained.
