same with Calif...snow pack in the sierras are good. Southern cali. is okay. Nevada is right under a D3 and so are parts of the midwest. 3-4 monts of "hot" weather could easily change that.

A listing of current counties under a D1, D2, D3 & D4 for North Carolina is now available on the RFW website. Included in the county listing is a short excerpt of what is considered to be permissiable washing guidelines for a D3 and a D4 Level.

The county listings will be updated weekly as conditions warrant.

A county by county listing for South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida will be listed and updated on the RFW website very soon. The information will be updated on a weekly basis also as conditions warrant.

We encourage every contractor to email or write your Congressman. As the link shows, Congressman in drought areas ARE taking action. Congressman Price from North Carolina ~ District 4 which includes Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham, has been involved at the federal level to assist the state.

News Releases: Price (NC04): Price Calls Attention to NC's Devastating Drought

Though his current effors did not directly benefit our industry that should not proclude us from reaching out and letting him and other elected officials know of our plight.

Regrettably, Congressman Price is unable to reply to any email from constituents outside of the 4th District of North Carolina. The Fourth District includes all of Durham and Orange Counties, part of Wake County, and a small section of Chatham County.
