Snow Plowing, will this truck work???? - Jan 25th, 08, 07:42 PM

Hello,

So I decided I was going with a flat bed for this year and plan on a plow and sander for it next year. I want a cab over mitsubishi or US for the reliablity and fuel mileage. I have been told by a few dealers that the 2wd will plow like a champ with the sander on the back and I should have no problem. There are 4wd out there, just very rare and expensive. Anyone have any experience or advice on using these 2wd for plowing. Thank.s

2wd will work fine I plowed with one for about 5 or 6 years. Just make sure that you have plenty of weight in the back and good tires. The only time you will have any problems is in the real wet heavy stuff, but you can work through it if you are careful.

We got another 4-7 coming tommorow...ugh 24 years of this, kind of like the washing, if the money wasn't so good I'd think about hanging it up. But it does pay for a new truck every other year, not too bad for 50-60 hours of work a year.
