January 29 '05 is right around the corner..

We would like to remind everyone to please make plans to attend our meeting.

We worked hard to get a date that is not in conflict with other conventions and meetings. We encourage everyone that can, to attend them as well..
Let's have a good turnout and support the industry!

ALL are welcome, full timers, part timers, rookies, veterans, contractors of all types...

When: January 29th at 3:00 pm.

Again, (and among the other topics up for discussion) we will be forming the Ga. Chapter of the PWNA while there.
Membership in PWNA is not required to attend, and will not be required for you to leave

$20 per person, $35 per couple.. Covers cost of the meal, beverages and materials.

So far we have commitments from 4 vendors to attend, so folks looking for information on different chems, equipment, and business supplies will have plenty to see.

The weatherman is calling for a winter storm warning here (1/4" of ice and the city goes into lockdown )
Folks coming in from the north will laugh at Atlanta's unique ability to panic at the mention of snow or ice.

Here's the deal..
Tonight we are expecting some freezing rain. Tomorrow morning it is going to wicked cold and the weather man says that things above ground will collect some accumulation. The roads should be fine.. bridges might be a bit slick though.

The storm warning is due to expire at 4pm tomorrow afternoon.

Our meeting starts at 3pm, the weather will be fine by then and we are still on.

Drive carefully, be smart and we'll see you there for some good food and great information.

The weatherman missed it and it is much worse than predicted.

I have been up since 4am watching the weather and it is not going to bet better.

We are calling off the meeting for today and will reschedule.

We have no soild date for rescheduling.

So sorry to hear that of all things, the weather is the reason for postponing the roundtable. It looks pretty nasty out there. Stay inside.

We are back on!!

Mother Nature smacked us around a bit last weekend, but we have re-scheduled the meeting for Saturday February 12th 2005 at 3 pm.



Several reasons for this:

1. Available dates beyond this are getting scarce before everyone gets very busy for the spring
2. The PWNA Convention is in March
3. Don Phelps is planning a get together in Florida in March
4. Perhaps one of the most important reasons is that if we do this NOW then we have a Georgia voice at the Convention. Yup it's political... but it serves all of our best interests as Georgia Contractors and we need to get together so we can "git' 'er done".

So,

We will see you all there.. same Bat Time, same Bat channel.. 3:00 pm Saturday Feb. 12th at Ryan's Steakhouse in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Phillip I agree it's time for another roundtable. The last one I attended was in N.C. and it was great. We had one sheduled here in Augusta back in November, but a few things came up and had to postpone. I havent talked to Cujo since our enviro class together, but I'm sure he would be interested as well. Maybe we could get something in the works pretty quickly before things get going wide open. Residential picked back up this week even with the cold weather but were only doing a house a day right now so the sooner the better for me, and Im sure yall feel the same.
