lost pressure??? - Nov 21st, 07, 10:11 PM

hello,

for those familiar with a delco rk43 i am having a problem. i don't have any pressure. i only get it when i pinch the hose coming from the pump. possibly the bypass hose. when i do this the pressure builds up to what appears to be normal operating pressure. when i let it go ii loose it again.

can anyone help me pleeeeeeaaassseeee ????

Sounds like it's time for a new unloader. They do wear out.

Sounds like Scott is right on the money!

I too suspect you need to replace your unloader.

If the pressure increases when you restrict the bypass
hose it is usually time for a new unloader.

i had a k1 unloader (one week old) and switched it to an AL unloader with a blue adjustable spring. the AL is brand new. i was trying to combine 2 rk-43 machines together.
