I may have that. I bought a Vacuuboom set up about 7 years ago. It stopped pumping water out of it after about 2 years. Now it just sits.
One of these days I will look at it. Owner Fly By Might, LLC 541-741-1700 |

You are correct they do require some maint, but not too bad. I have a dual vac system and it is the only way to go if you use the vacuboom. In 6 years I think I replaced 3 motors, most in the first few years. What usually caused the problem was the foam caused by the combo of air flow and soap. A little de-foamer and pre damming solved a lot of those problems.

Scott,
Carpet cleaners use defoamer in their systems and it can be found in most janitorial shops. WD-40 also does a fantastic job. Either way, you start with a little before hand to control the build up, and introduce more as needed. You can put it right in the vacuum or let it flow through the vacuum hose while working. |

I will usually put it on the ground in the waste stream so it mixes in slowly, i will use less and it seams to do the best job.
