New Pump? - May 1st, 08, 07:37 AM

I just bought a diaphragm pump to replace the roller pump. The pump I bought is a trial pump. I think it may be ok anyhow though. Yamada NDP-15FPT $259.00. It is made from Polypropylene, with Teflon being the wetted materials. Either way I just want to try a diaphragm pump to see how I like the overall operation. It seems to spray ok with very little pulsation when hooked to a hose reel. Anyone else who uses these; Do you use an exhaust or a dampener? Just wondering if this affects the life of the pump.
