I used a 60 foot lift last week for a project. The one day rental was $700. They went up since the last time I rented one, last year. A LOT!!! It hurt.

Lifts can be VERY useful! We have used them also.

i was bidding on a 50 ft building and checked with the local equipment rental company on the price of a "genie boom". cost was $800.00 per day (based on 8 hrs, equipment has a clock on it) with a $150.00 pickup and delivery fee. there was also a $800.00 security deposit required. where is the 50 ft woman when you need her?

Our price was only 350 delivered and picked up.
I WANT to buy one of these, but here in Florida, maybe one roof in 300 needs one ?
Still, I think they are cool.

We have a monthly budget of $7,000.00 for lifts on our jobs. We do mostly commercial. I cant see where many residential customers would pay for a lift. They are sometimes as much as the cleaning cost. Mallard Systems never used a lift for a residential job. We just got creative with poles etc.

Yeah, I hear ya AL.
When I was working, I think I needed a lift 5 times in 14 years.
Same with My Son.
But my new roof guy does 90 percent of the roofs we come across, but every now and then a lift is nice.
