Sometimes, the first board of our Industry, The Delco Board, gets overlooked.
Here is me, and some other Delco people, answering some Tile Roof Cleaning questions about possibly down streaming a Tile Roof.

Go here, and enter the Delco URL www.dcs1.com in Internet Archive: Wayback Machine to search the OLD Delco board ??
The Delco board archives "only" go back to 1998 or 1999 unfortunately,
and are not totally complete.

See for yourself how us "Old School Delco" guys did it.
And while you are at it, SEE all the old, familiar faces there on that board like Scott Stone, Beth and Rod, Ron Musgraves, Apple Roof Cleaning, Ken Fenner, BigBoy, and many other familiar names.

Actually Ken, I DID think you would be here today.
You asked a lot of questions in the past, indicating a high degree of Intelligence.
Smart people are more likely to stick around.
You have done well for yourself, and come a long way.
Usually, I find MOST problems between people are due to a lack of communications.
ALL I do is clean roofs, thats IT.
You and I compete over the same piece of cheese.

Here is where I am coming from Ken.
I sit back, and watch people I have shown how to clean roofs go after me by placing links on the same sites I am on.
Yet when I place a picture in a thread they start, I have "hijacked their thread" ?
From MY point of view, WHY is it "ok" for you to place your web site in "MY" directory that I BEGGED to get included in, but I can't place my picture in "your" thread ?

I have had several roofers inspect and offer prices to do a few repairs to a flat roof on a small 2 storey terraced house in Kilburn.I now have several wildy different estimates, and would like to know how to go about getting a real estimate.One suggestion I had was to get a surveyor to look at the job, but dont they cost a fortune?

I would just keep on getting Bids, OR advertise for someone to fix your Roof ?
In this bad economy, I think roofers will take any work they can get.
Here in Tampa Florida, it is slow for our local roofers.
The lack of rain has hurt them.
I am a roof cleaner in Tampa, and WE are very busy cleaning roofs.
But we have developed a following, over many, many years doing what we do.
This is a cleaning forum, not really a roofing one.
But welcome to The Grime Scene
Lots of nice people here, perhaps someone in your area may know a good roofer ?

I would suggest that you check out Angies List - I'm sure there is a local "List" in your area.
