First Roof cleaning job - Aug 2nd, 08, 04:01 PM

Here is my first attempt at a roof cleaning. Thanks to Jarrod, Chris, and Bob from pressuretek - this wouldn't have been possible. I used the 'Tambasco Sauce' it's a picante version of the 'Apple Sauce'. I didn't rinse this roof - as I wanted the chems to stay behind and continue to work - and let mother nature take care of the rest. I think roof cleaning will be a welcome addition to 'bigger 'n better' things for my company.

I cleaned the gutters out by hand front and back - so I don't know what part of the job was just the roof - but I was there a total of 5.5hrs. It was in Danvers, MA right across the road from the Beverly airport.

Wooster is in Ohio - so, no. Worcester is in mid-MA, that's far away as well. Beverly is like the North shore onto Cape Anne. That part of MA that sticks out into the ocean above Boston. Lots of filthy rich yacht owners in that area.

If you have a really thick new england accent it's pronounced that way - I don't have an accent at all - I pronounce it more like wuss-ter. You know Chris you may be onto something - there is a friggin' gold mine in roofs near the inner city. I am seriously spinning my wheels being out in the 'burbs'. In fact - I think after last week, I will no longer even entertain the thought of crossing the border into NH to give estimates. Just too much hillybilly bumpkin scum willing to work for dirt cheap - and too many homeowners who think they're rich with their new urban sprawl homes, but think $500 is a lot of money - ha ha ha haha a. Man the vinyl guys must love it - all these hacks hitting homes with pure bleach, high pressure and hot water. I haven't seen a home yet that didn't look at least 3x it's actual age with all the fading and oxidation.
