Vero Under Pressure Roof Cleaning/John's Island, Florida - Aug 13th, 08, 09:39 PM

I had to make an emergency trip to the Pressure Pro facilities in Ft. Pierce, FL this morning, and after dropping my trailer off an hour and 45 minutes south of Orlando at 8 AM I headed back North about 12 miles to hang out with Mel Everett (PWKid) of Vero Under Pressure and his employee Mike, while they did a tile roof cleaning and some other services at a very nice home on beautiful John's Island, Florida. Mel had his high flow pw's fired up for rinsing and Mike was up on the roof, sharing the love as only he can. I grabbed some garden hose and my camera and we went to town.

I had a great time hanging out with you guys while my 8 gpm nightmare pwer was being repaired.

Vero Under Pressure is the 'Real Deal' in low pressure roof cleaning on the Treasure Coast!

A huge thanks go's out to Don Phelps from ALL SEASON EXTERIORS FROM ORLANDO FLORIDA He was a huge help. Look at that 3/8 hose from a JOHN BLUE PUMP spray like a male cat.

P.S. There was no TSP used in this application.

I personally use 1/8" hose connected to my chem tank fitted with a bicycle tire valve stem - and some neigborhood kid pumping away the tire pump - and throw him a 5'er when I am done. LOL

Dan I Do not Appreciate you trying to Hijack my thread,in the future try showing a lil more respect. I know you are trying to be a roof cleaner and when you finally get out of a certain roof cleaners shadow you will understand what it is to be a professional in this industry. Maybe when you stop acting like a child you might sell more jobs.

As only an inexperienced '1 timer' would do....Sit back and take some notes, kid.

Mel - there was absolutely nothing wrong with Don's post, you must have known when you set out your sarcasm 'bait' that somebody would bite. Sorry I hijacked 'your' thread of mutual back patting.

On another note - if the 'grime scene' has become what I suspect, a place where contractors come to put on a good 'show' for prospective homeowners - where guys like you and Phelps start threads and mutually worship each other. Then please Tell Beth and Rod - to 'man' up, and state that in the rules. At which point I will totally respect your threads and totally respect your intentions - as you probably want to use this as a marketing tool - and increase your earnings as a result - and I totally respect and admire that, if in case that is what you guys are gunning for. But that's just not the 'grimescene' I remember when I first came in here in '06.

Perhaps 'your' thread is not an appropriate place to criticize your methods - then which thread can I post my thoughts? If at all? Beth, Rod - what is your board for?

It has been almost 3 years since Mel and I have hung out/worked together and I have to say I've missed it.....What a great time! We were going to get some pics together, but I was a little tight on time and forgot.

BTW, what a nice trailer! 2 high gpm pwers, a John Blue roof cleaning pump, titan electric hose reels and high capacity tanks.

A few more pics.

Not starting a war, Scott, don't get that popcorn yet. I didnt' criticize anyone's methods - just the sarcasm. And mostly I want some clarification from the owners of this board - what exactly is this board for now? I have no objections if it what I think - just want it to be clarified.

Carlos thank you very much. It was very nice to have an experienced roof cleaner like Don Phelps there to help out and share his input on a very nice job by VERO UNDER PRESSURE. I am going to ignore negative post from a painter that has shown interest in roof cleaning because he can not sell painting in his area and decided to take up roof cleaning as a second job.

That is actually a really nice trailer setup, Mel. How about a thread on the construction and the setup of the trailer - I wouldn't mind 'borrowing' a few ideas. I really like how all the reals are suspended from the additional 'ceiling' frame.
