I think the important thing to remember here is not HOW one has the ability to control chemical strength, but that they do!

BTW Tim, I just put the Isuzu NPR of mine in the shop.
Found me a semi retired old codger who works cheap from home.
He is pullin the old wooden flatbed off, and looking for a used steel flatbed.

I am having the U joints and brake lines replaced, the Chlorine has spoken.

I have the dual tanks all ready to go, and the pinch valves, tubing, etc to make another Vari Flow system.

The big Ford F 600 is another story, it has a HUGE flatbed.

Since it is only planned to be a big commercial truck to be used on specific big jobs, I can't see any point in making a Vari Flow system for it ?

I will probably just put 4 325 gallon tanks on her, and maybe 4 pumps/hose reel combo's, turn her sideways to the building, pull out hose, and start spraying.

I have to check her weight capacity, and I am quite handy changing leaf springs, or adding them, having built many a race car.

Maybe with some beefing up of her springs, I could put 4 500 gallon tanks on her ?
Of course, we would only fill the tanks partially with the Love, and then add water on the job.

Then, we will spray out our chemical, and drive home.

4 500 gallon tanks filled halfway is 1000 gallons.

So, 1000 gallons times 8 is 8000 LBS.

Of course, filled with water that is 16,000 LBS.

IT MAY be possible to beef up the frame and springs to "take" that weight in a stationary position ?

Our 28 inch reels currently hold 300 feet of 5/8 hose Tim.

But, we have been known to add on hose when we need it, LOL

Our pumps are capable of using 500, or even 600 feet of total hose IF we actually need it.

When the F 600 is finished, she quite likely will be the largest roof cleaning machine I have ever seen.

But I am really more excited about the implementation of the Vari Flow system on the Isuzu.

Commercial jobs are nice, and "look good" posted on Internet boards.
But seldom in our experience do they pay all that great.

The commercial buyer will always get 3 or more bids, and someone will always play "spoiler".

Apple Roof Cleanings bread and butter is thousands of repeat residential customers, and they are Job One as far as I am concerned.

Doing residential, one never knows WHAT he will run into, from a pool cage to a white tile roof ?

The ability to vary my mixture strength is important to me, as it is to you.

We have slightly different ways of achieving this, but the important thing is we CAN easily do it.

I have many houses like this one that need roof cleaning . what would you charge for a house like this [one of my lawn customers]. I was thinking $350. [house in picture does NOT need cleaning] I got $450 to wash the vinyl siding on the house two doors down several yrs ago.

He is new here Mel, only his second post!
I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he IS new.
I can relate to his enthusiam, and perhaps he was totally unaware of the rules here regarding vendors ?
No real harm done IMHO.
His post has been edited, he was told why in a nice way.
Maybe he will be our friend someday, and a regular here on TGS ?
