I budgeted for 10 days on the job and we got out in 13, but it's finished and the results were great. We had smooth days and a few not-so-smooth days, but overall it was a great effort all the way around.
I want to give a HUGE thanks to Mel Everett (PWKid) and his employee Rob as well as Wayne Spreadbury (WEW) for lending their expertise, experience and equipment to the effort. I was notified that we got the contract on a Monday and told that we had to start 3 days later, and we still managed to pull it all together quickly and do a great job! Again, thanks for all the effort guys!

What did it cost you per day for the lift?
Looks like a ball python that got in the chlorine bucket...
Do you have any pics of the trailer rig?
Were there any issues with getting the chlorine up three+ stories?

1) It didn't cost me anything, but it cost the GC $1500/wk.Originally Posted by Tronman

So Don,
Did you have a previous relationship with the GC and he feeds you work or did they look you up and have you competitively bid on the project.
It might be good marketing to agressively go after GC's and construction companies...

He got my name from a roofing contractor that I've dealt with in the past. Mine was the only bid. I've got another one out with him on a smaller 10 building/9 garage complex and we're meeting sometime this week to look at a third for possible roof and concrete cleaning. GC's like to keep it simple and have "their guys" for whatever jobs that they need to procure services for. Doing the usual 3 bid process slows them down too much and they don't always know anything about the contractors that are submitting a bid (reliability, insurance, etc). The best part is if you can get "in" with a GC, it is very conceivable that you could do only 8-10 jobs a year for them and make anywhere from $120-$200K and only work 6-8 months a year.
