Call me if you want and I'll explain how we did it.
As for the safety lines, we tied off to the boom cage and the operator would take in/tie off or feed us more line as needed. Anchoring to the ground will work too, but it kills your time. We cleaned 3.75 buildings one day and we were scootin' to get that many in. Moving the lift and getting everything set up again can kill your productivity if you don't have a plan. Each time we came down in the last days, every person had their own responsibilities to get moving to the next building. Some grabbed hoses, others handled the rig or moved the boom.

I just finished adding up the #'s on the chlorine bill.
2710 gallons used @ .90/gallon = $2439
It's considerably lower than what I had originally budgeted for since the roofs were more than just moderately dirty.

Thanks Wayne......I'll try to line you up on these next two also. I meet with the GC tommorow on the 3rd property.......51 residential buildings (two story tile) and the office.
They're interested in having the concrete cleaned also.

We started this one on Tues. and will finish this Monday. I subcontracted the services of Pete Z. (Big Pete), Wayne S. (WEW) and Chris C. (Work2Fish). There are 9 three story buildings, an office/clubhouse and 10 one story garages. We're using a 120' boom lift. Overall, things are going smooth and we'll complete the job on schedule.

Great Pics Don...
"Moving the lift and getting everything set up again can kill your productivity if you don't have a plan. Each time we came down in the last days, every person had their own responsibilities to get moving to the next building." - Don
The above statement is so TRUE. Preplanning a job the size of one that Don is doing is essential.
Preplanning meaning going out to the site and envision where the the lift(s) are going to go. We try to strategize at least 2 placements for our lift(s) (just in case we pull up to start the job and the 1st placement has 5 cars parked there ~ we move to the 2nd placement).
Your employees must have their marching orders prior to getting on site and fully understand the carefully orchestrated procedure(s) that are essential in delivering a quality product....
As Don mentioned, you can kill yourself on time if you do not have a mapped out plan on how you are going to attack a job of this size. Hat's off to you Don!

Dang!! That's nifty! Who is that seven foot tall guy on the roofs?? That guy looks like he could have eliminated your need for the boom!Is that the "PHELPS WAND" in action?? Where can I see/read more about those? Does Phelps have a website?
Nice project Don, are you doing the buildings too or just the roofs & garages?
I love doing the complexes, they are easy once you have a system down. I do several now for a few years in a row, one i do it took like 9 or 10 days the 1st time I did it and now it takes 6 days for the same money actually I raised the price this year
Nic work is this the same guy that you did the other complex for?
