gutter guards keep coming off - May 7th, 06, 10:34 PM

I put on some solid gutter guards for a woman at church 2 years ago and every time a windstorm comes through some pop off. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? This has been going on for 2 years now.

I have seen many screwed on at the outer edge. I also neer put them under the shingles as directed, but just under the first layer. It seems to get a better bite with asphault/granules underneath the cover.

A layer of construction adhesive between the guard and the bottom of the shingle does the trick.
