Dissolving the 'grey'

Has anyone ever mixed a chem where you applied it to a cedar sided home and could literally just use a hose from the ground and rinse off all the degradation? The closest I think I have come to this is using a 'roof' washing mix like Apple's recipe. But for the most part it seems you need up close and personal attention with 800-1000psi. Or I guess backbrushing a whole house with the chems would allow only using a garden hose rinse succesfully.

Gasoline with a touch of fuel injector cleaner. Followed up by insurance adjuster.
